HERE'S SOME ANSWERS TO OUR MOST ASKED QUESTIONS about the pod

Q:  Whats the difference between the POD and the BOOTH?
A: The Booth is a fully enclosed photo experience where you squeeze in and shut the curtain.  The POD is just an open version of a BOOTH where guests can see what's going on and there's a bit more space for capturing larger groups. 

Q: So the photo POD takes photographs just like the booth, how do people see them?
A:  They are printed straight out of the POD's remote printer in 8 seconds.  As well as instant printing, guests get to SEE themselves live on the POD screen. They also go online if you want them to.  Check out our event gallery.

Q: Why do I need a photo pod if everyone has a phone?
A: This is a photo experience just like the booth.  Whilst the booth is tight and a squeeze, the POD is open air and can cope with larger groups.  Our pod has powerful, consistent lighting and a beautiful backdrop.  That together with our incredible instant printing and wonderful props make it so much better than the bog standard selfie.  Trust us.. it's awesome. DON’T FORGET - with the POD, every guest can send a copy of their photo to their mobile or even email it t themselves, live, on the night!

Q:  How big is it?
A: It can adjust to the size of the room which make it very versatile.  We recommend a space of about 3m x 3m and a single 13Amp socket.

Q:  What's so important about the backdrop?
A: The backdrop provides a consistent look and feel to your photographs, free from distractions!  A good backdrop makes the subject shine and helps our booth images have a truly fabulous feel to them.  Ask our advice about your venue or why not make use of our beautiful Champagne Gold backdrop free of charge.

Q:  Will it fit in with the theme of my wedding?
A:  The great thing about our photo POD is that it really does go with everything.  A stunning vintage retro feel or simply paired down, it works with all themes!   For corporate events however we can custom design one of PODs to maximise brand visibility.

Q:  What size are the prints and how many do I get?
A:  The prints are either 6x4 photographs or classic 6x2 strips. They can have anything up to 4 photographs on them.  Every event can have custom designed prints.  We do not currently use templates but prefer each of our clients to have something unique and memorable - in keeping with their event.

Q:  What do the Guest Book and the prints actually look like?
A:  Have a look at the bottom of the page at the very last slideshow to see some print examples and our range of stunning recycled leather Guest Books we use.

Q: Can children use the POD?
A: Our Photo POD can be set up to cater for large numbers of children but to be honest the Photo Booth is a better solution for kids as it has a seat.  The POD works great in landscape mode for groups of adults. However, our attendant will always be on hand to help and advise how to get the best results with a mix of adults and kids..
